I played this game last year expecting it to be a poorly-translated VN with mediocre music, generic anime artwork, and terrible story. I got the exact opposite. It's made by Dischan, who created Juniper's Knot, if you know what that is.

Let's start with the writing. I could not find a single - A SINGLE, I kid you not - grammatical mistake in the entire game unless it was done with the specific purpose of fitting a tone. The less technical aspects are all great, too. The script is full of innuendo and jokes, the characters develop extremely well, and the plot is very self-contained for an episodic series; that is to say, it has a larger plot that's set up in the first game and a smaller plot that does all the setting up, but the smaller plot functions extremely well on its own, too.

The music is superb. The game comes with a copy of the soundtrack, but I wasn't satisfied there, so I went out and bought the entire discography of CombatPlayer, the composer and musician behind it all. I could not recommend this music more, even if you don't like the game.

The art is also amazing, but I'm not an art critic. I, personally, feel it's particularly good, rather than your average, "Oh, look, he can actually draw something that doesn't look like a genetic experiment gone wrong," reaction. The artist's name is Doomfest, and you can find him here: soft.moe

Overall, this is the best VN I've ever played. I can't recommend it enough. If you don't believe me, I wrote an article for my school's publication about it over a year ago and I still can't stop raving about it. I have provided at least 75% of my 205 Steam friends with a copy. I know it's not your standard VN setup, but I don't want the same experience over and over again with minor variations. This game provided me with a brand-new experience, and I loved every second of it. Buy it now.

looks promising but it seems to be unfinished and abandoned....

Hello. I am highly interested in playing this VN, I have only started playing them "recently", and I am really hooked up on them (actually it, because I am still unfinished with my first one). But I know for sure I'd like to continue.
I wanted to ask you if you could share this game with me for a "free trial", this is just a favour out of my own selfishness because I dislike the idea of buying something (game) without knowing if it's gonna be good.

This game is great! It has a wonderful story and great potential, but sadly the project is abandoned now. I played it through and want a sequel badly.

>>3 Because I like this developer and because they've had such heavy financial issues in the past, I will have to turn you down. Seriously, it costs five dollars. If you aren't financially unstable right now, just buy it. You're not buying all the stock in a Fortune 500 company or anything like that; it's five dollars, not twenty million. If you honestly can't afford that, and you really want to play, then my advice is to save up until you can buy it without putting yourself in financial jeopardy.

>>4 I really want a sequel, too. It's so great, but I guess we'll just have to let our imaginations fill in what happens next. Have you listened to more of the musician's stuff? I highly recommend it.
