Since no one has done thread like this on the VN board I thought I'd ask everyone this: What is your favourite VN?
Mine is a toss up between Sharin No Kuni Himawari no Shoujo and G Senjou No Maou (damn Akabei Soft 2 and their awesome stories XD)

Mine is probably Hakuoki: Shinsengumi Kitan. I haven't played it myself but have seen LP's of it that I enjoyed a lot. I'm also a big fan of the anime it got. I like it when there's a good balance between romance and action, and the historical elements are definitely a plus.

I'd say Rewrite, most likely. It's my first visual novel, and I really loved it. I first saw the opening while looking for Rewrite, the song by AKFG, and since then, I wondered what it was. I was maybe twelve years old, I don't remember if I even found out it was a visual novel. But well, one day, probably two years ago now, I found out about its translation, and got myself into it.

I really wish I could replay it without the feeling of knowing it all, and with the same excitement I had, back then. It was something amazing for me.

Mine would have to be a tie between Katawa Shoujo, or Yume Miru Kusuri. KS had such a great sound track (which I am a sucker for), and the story with all the girls touched me like a little boy and a van full of candy. Yume Miru also had a great sound track, and the story with the girls is great.

My favorite VN would have to be Lamento Beyond the Void. Its a REEEEEEEEALLY long VN but the sound track for it makes it totally worth reading. (Though, its a BL visual novel)
