So. Rewrite. The "newest" addition to Key. Is anyone looking forward to the English Patch? There's a partial patch, but the full patch is almost done.

Rewrite is set in the fictional city Kazamatsuri where treeplanting and afforestation have caused the city to become overgrown with trees and flowers in much the same way that other cities are filled by buildings. However, while most of the city appears to be rural, there are many traditional city elements as well. While set in a modern setting, the city also gives off a strange sense of nostalgia. The basis of the story is set in a high school setting. The first half of Rewrite primarily consists of the characters interacting in many everyday, enjoyable scenes. The latter half, however, is more serious, emotional, and carries a sense of mystery to the plot.

As indicated by the title, rewriting is the theme of the game's scenario. The tagline for the game is, "Could it possibly be rewritten, that fate of her's?".

Pretty cool right? Of course it's a Key novel...it's got to be amazing, I've seen screenshots, and boy is it really.

I've seen the op, and I must say that it really did get me really excited about finding out more about this game's scenario and overall plot and such. The people who worked on the game is just a good reason as any to be pumped about it. With Ryukishi07 (original creator of the Higurashi series) contributing to one of the heroine's scenario and Itaru Hinoue returning for the character designs. Regular Key composers Shinji Orito and Jun Maeda are also heading the original score and music. Exciting stuff!! ^_^ Can't wait to try it out!

*cough* So, I only purchased this visual novel recently ahaha, it's been on my list for quite some time now, and as such, I'm going through it about as fast as I can. Each route seems to be rather long. I have only completed Chihaya and Kotori's routes as of now. Chihaya's was much sadder and connected with me on a deeper level. [Mostly because I'm a fan of utsuge.]

Anyhow, this game is sad. Very sad. There's a certain level of depression that you come to expect of any visual novels Key creates. [See: Clannad, Kanon, Air, ect.]

...I feel this game has surpassed those in any ability to make me cry. Between the two routes I have played as of writing this, I have cried more that I cried over Clannad as a whole. [And I cried quite a bit indeed.]

Currently my plans for the rest of the routes are Lucia>Akane>Shizuru>M>T

Hope to see everyone else enjoys this game as much as I do!
