Well, I don't know if this is even possible in reality, so for now it is only a suggestion.

Everyone who watched Durarara should know that the Dollars were founded by spreading the name in different online chats. I thought that maybe we could do so too. Like on Discord chats for example. Just like "Have you ever heard about the Dollars?".

Of course, there are people who know Durarara and aren't a Dollar here, so that might prove problematic...

And we would also have to discuss how far to go, in Durarara they claimed unexplained events as the work of the Dollars after all.

Also, we could send invitations to friends through E-Mail like in Durarara. They probably wouldn't know about Durarara then though. So I don't know if that would be okay.

Please tell me what you guys think about those suggestions ^^

I thinks it's a great idea. But if you email someone an invite to the dollars, you should use your dollars email. If you don't have one, then you should probably make one.

I don't know my friends' email but they don't use email anyway. I think I can make a messenger account and send dollar invitations to parties about Durarara and my friends. What do you think about this?

But if we send them invitations, we would have to make sure that the receivers don't simply think that it is a virus or spam. Maybe we should write something like an explanation, like that we're a group without rules and without leader; that everyone is welcome, regardless of age, gender or origin.

Maybe we should also agree to a standard invitation, so that it looks more professional, but that is only my viewpoint ^^

In the Anime, there is first sent an invitation, and when the receiver accepts, they are given the password to the website. Of course they would have to find the website too, so maybe we should also send a link (which could again be interpreted as a virus I guess) or write they should google 'Dollars BBS'

Also, in my first comment, I mentioned spreading the name through online chatrooms like Discord, so if you could also give me your thoughts about that suggestion, I would truly appreciate it.

Heyy! It's an awesome idea really, a thread has been made a couple of days ago on the topic of reviving the Dollars community and inviting new people in. You can check it out in the Missions section, but yeah I've also been thinking about ways to spread the word. When I was on here previously in 2016, I downloaded an app that gave me a different phone number to text people from, and well, I sent a message to everyone in my contacts, asking them to join the dollars.

I ripped a page from my notebook and wrote: "Who is with the Dollars? Sign Below" and I left it in the boy's bathroom. Within three weeks, there were twenty-four boy names and strangely enough six girl names on the page.

Everywhere I went, if nobody's eyes were on me, I would draw a dollar sign on the surfaces of desks, on the classroom doors, on the bathroom stall. A few days after I began that, I saw more dollar signs popping up that I couldn't remember ever drawing myself. I started a movement. Sadly I graduated that year and my fun ended.

I plan to bring the movement back.

I like this idea a lot, however it may be hard to start up at first.

I might take a page from ManicMicah's book and do something similar near me. My school is small, but so is my town, so I might be able to do something a bit more widespread that way.

What if we started claiming unexplained things as the work of the dollars like they do in the show, and then when they ask about the dollars just direct them here.

Yeah this is good. like in the other thread, we could say "what color are the dollars?" and the response is "colorless."
