I am thinking if organizing a monthly event by the end of each month. That would be a great idea! But we need participants and helpers.

The magazine will be made at the beginning of each month. And an event will be made by the end of each month, so the magazine will be mentioning about that event. Let me put an example which is, writing contest, running event (which will be organized in a city , if successful, will be organized in others)... etc.

Is it a good idea?

If I got some members in, then I'd be starting that event next month along with the magazine. And will be continued if successful.

Contests will probably be slow until they're accepted as a site- wide thing. Just keep things short and simple for as much participation as possible. Good luck c:

To organise running events in a city might be rather difficult.
Writing contests etc. would be much easier to organise and realise.
On a side note: There will be more people participating in these events, if there was an obvious purpose.
For instance: If the running event was somehow connected to a charity project; or if the winner of the writing contest would gain a prize (don´t know what though...).

When we find intrest, we will be organizing those matters. We need the intrest and ideas before organizing anything or even planning, don't you think?

Well, on the one side it´s completely right that you need interest first.
Nevertheless, you would find participants much easier if you already had a concrete plan of what you want to do and how far those ideas are realisable.
I, for example, would help you if I had a more detailed imagination of what you really want to do and if it would be worth the investment of time.
