So I want members to explain what the Dollars are in real life. What do we really do, even if there is such a thing as a we. Are we role players, a gang, an organization, a secret organization, a simple website for teens, a website filled with trash and no purpose, etc.?

Write down what this website is. And dont tell me to go to the about us page. Like write what your experience is and define what is a Dollar, if there is such a thing.

For me I have been here for a year and nothing happens. So far people only complain about not putting things up in the right place and constantly just write "sage please". There is no real world interaction at all.

Well one time i think someone hacked someone I knew for fun but I am not sure even if that mission was a success or not.

I have debated about being a Dollar or not. It feels largely pointless. Even with the whole "it is what I make of it" , I dont feel like being a Dollar has an impact.

The Dollars are a Network, all over the world. Mostly you can call them an underground Gang. They are there, but nobody knows. They could make the world a better place, they could change pretty much. that´s what the Dollars should be. You can change the Dollars, so they can change the world. But in the first place, this is an anonymous chatting platform.

To me the dollars depends on what you want to do as a dollars. No one has to follow the missions you can choose not to do then or you can. Or you can start your own personal mission and tell everyone here about it and they might fallow in your foot steps and do the same thing. The Dollars are invisible and no one knows we are here I say lets hint to the world that we are here by doing more missions and leaving our mark on the world and show everyone "THE WORLD IS NOT AS BAD AS YOU THINK"

Just who are the Dollars?

The Dollars website is an open topic BBS (Bulletin Board System) that does not require an account to post on. There is a wide range of topics to discuss, things to learn, and new people to meet everyday!

All types of people are welcome, as long as you respect others and post responsibly. Your age, ethnicity, personality, economic status, and abilities have absolutely no influence on your status as a Dollar. Please do note that because there are no heavy restraints on where or what you post, it is up to you to follow the rules and keep the BBS lawful and clean. For each board, there is a short description near the top of the page. Please check that your thread fits into the guidelines before posting it!

Although we are mainly a site used for discussion, this does not limit those who want to go out and make the world a better place. There is a board where fellow Dollars can congregate to post ideas for Missions or to report their progress on them. However, please do not attempt to force others to partake in Missions; that section of the site is strictly voluntary.

Before beginning to create new threads, please introduce yourself on the Introductions board, read this helpful thread, and observe how things function for a while.

This site may seem pointless, what with your statement about how everyone just complains about in-site issues and never really does anything. But I, for one, am just so glad that it is here.
I thought about creating it myself, and when I looked into it, to find this website was such a great experience. This site has been built better than I ever could have done it, and I am grateful it is here.
That being said, if you think there is no point and that it is inactive, that just adds a challenge to the mix. It's at least worth a try.
Follow the guidance of those on the missions page who want to spread good messages. Include the Dollars slogan and website in the little messages you leave, get people curious in the cities around you, and people will inevitably join us. Then, when there are people in your area who are active on this website, start planning events with them, gatherings where eveyone can connect in one place at one time and start doing something.
I don't know if it will work, I only just got here, but that is my plan thus far and I have high hopes for it, because the one thing people all share, wherever you are, is the curiousity. Calling upon that, I think it is all too possible to turn the Dollars into whatever you want it to be around you, with the help of the other members.
The Dollars is a place for anyone, a group of sorts but nothing like a gang, and it's certainly no secret.
This is something to be proud of and a rare way to connect, it holds endless possibility and excitement, but the only way to gain that from it is to set out to make it happen.
Let's make the Dollars known, spread the awareness all around you, and watch as it changes and grows- it surely will!
This is a place to come looking for something, and to find other people who are also looking, so that together we can make things happen. That is the Dollars, in my opinion.
