Password Change! (8)

1 Name: CloudStrife : 2016-01-10 22:16 ID:+WxEFDVZ [Del]

I've been thinking; why don't we change the website's passcode? We could change one of the letters to numbers or a random symbol. After the change, the Admin (or admins) can inform those with a dollars email about the change. If you don't have one, I'll make a chatroom on the first chat link and explain, if needed. please take this into account.

Because the password is just there for pure aesthetics. There is no need to change it since that just removes the charm of a site based on the Dollars website from the series. Wanting a password change completely misses the whole point. Many people request this every now and again and it will continue to be a pointless and appropriately ignored one every single time.

>>1 This is pointless: Please read through my reasoning below.
1. By my last count only roughly 1/5 of members have made an email (That's only the members I've seen on the main 5 boards).

2. How do you think the password got out to begin with? Someone posted it. Do you really think changing the password will stop them from doing it again? Seriously it only takes one person to ruin it.

3. The work would be unreal...Like do you know how hard it would be to contact everyone and make sure they all reply confirming the change?

4. What's the point, if you want to be a serious member, be one. Don't waste time on things like this, just focus on being a proactive member yourself.
