Tbh, that sounds great, but I've been apart of lots of other online groups that involved Skype chats and they would get people's IP's and DDoS them if they argued or something.
I'm pretty sure that you can only get that information if it was a Skype call and not just the chat, but who knows :s

IRC is safer, if you want a permanent chatroom and it's really not that hard to use.
