I suggest that the admin create a pinned post at the top of the threads. A link that will show you all the needed threads like the "Read this if you're new", "What not to post on main" and other needed threads so that new comers can read them easily and the old ones don't have to Bump everytime.
But only the admin can control it. I'm just a suggesting. (-_-)

I have a similar idea: making a list of taken usernames so you don't casually take the name of a long time user. Sadly I accidentally chose one very similar to another active member, Kazeki.

Tripcodes
Tripcodes can be used to uniquely identify yourself.
When posting, simply enter "Username !QWERTY" (where "QWERTY" is a password of your choosing) into the [Name] field and a unique identifier will be generated for you. Feel free to head over to the Test Board to try it out.

Kinda surprised FindMuck didn't know/mention this, but it would take alot of coding to add another tab up top like the help and chatroom tabs, and with the web design software Admin uses it's nigh on impossible to make a pinned or sticky function, so this idea is regrettably impossible. Beside's, doing something like that would go against the philosophy of the dollars, we're self governing, the only reason we have those rules is because someone cares enough to bump the threads, and if there comes a time when they don't we will no longer have said rules. That said, if you truly care about the moderation of the site, I invite you to join the forces attempting to correct and teach the newbies, as well as restore the site to normalcy after a shitpost.

I understand. Wasn't sure just how much it would take to implement, but the suggestions go rather unnoticed by Reltair anyhow. He actually made a thread on main in December discussing various updates, including a search feature. But it has since been deleted.
Organization is certainly an obstacle for this site though. All I do to moderate anymore is sending thread reports to admin@dolars.org when I see anything intentionally offensive.
