Shouldn't we change the name/password so it would be more real. Right now just anyone with google could get in.

2 Name: クリスチャン : 2015-11-05 23:25 ID:Shz4oDE7 [Del]

I some what agree but eventually that password will get out too

3 Name: Ryph : 2015-11-06 00:17 ID:G4Ra8bEx [Del]

I don't think we should change anything. The Dollars is a place where anyone can join. We have to do good things and one good thing is acceptance.

>>3 We don't have to do anything, not good nor bad. I do agree that we shouldn't change anything, though.

Perhaps a better idea is to create a small area on the site with a different password, for only the serious dollars? Or, that area could have an actual membership, sort of; and area where each password is different, just like passwords on normal sites. You provide them your email or Skype, and bingo, they send you your password. A hidden are for only the serious members to chat. Then, inside there, the city leaders could discuss what's going on with the actual dollars gangs.

You actually don't even need the password to come here. When you click on a subcategory of Dollars BBS you can get here without the password. So the only thing I think would be a good change is, that you have to know the password in order to get here.

I agree with Xue, It would help keep us organized, and make things easier. Everyone could sign up with a Dollar's email, and have to be invited in. Like you could put your email down, and be sent and email with a password to get in and then create an account on the smaller area of the dollars.

>>5 But wouldn't that contradict with the original purpose of this site?

'The Dollars website is an open topic BBS (Bulletin Board System) that does not require an account to post on.'

Well then, if we create a area where membership is required, that would ruin the whole point of every dollar being anonymous. Besides, how would anyone know the area exists?

My point is, it would keep us organised, but how would members find it in the first place?

>>5 Ok, Here's the new emblem for the new Democratic Central Politburo of the Communist Party of Dollars.

And the press pictures for our Politbüro meetings, that will also be used for out spread missions.

whut?

Xue wants to have a special board, and he expects membership to this core to be granted to the dollars deserving it.

Since Dollars were supposed to be equal, I considered what could possibly go wrong.

(Ps: I'm proud of these pictures made with The Gimp btw)

To answer why I think it is necessary, it is because I am serious about being a Dollar; it is more than just saying 'hey, I am a fan of that anime too!'. For me, the Dollars have the potential to be 'life'; what drives me forward, gives me something to work towards. A purpose. And I'm not just saying that to be dramatic. I want a place to belong, with people I can trust to be loyal to me and who I can be loyal to in turn.

When you meet someone irl, it's quite different than chatting online; you have to wonder, 'Is the person I'm talking to real, and not a stalker? I have to be careful; and what if this person isn't serious about it like I am? Even if they aren't some stalker, can I really put my faith in them?' It's scary; you don't know wether you should open up to these people, put your trust in them, because they might betray you.

So in the interest of being safe, both of physical and of the heart, I really do think there should be a separate area for those who want to find a place they can belong. For real, and not just a game. Dollars are not equal here. That was just in the anime. There are real Dollars, and those who want to play at it. This is a site for ALL Dollars, including ones that would cause the real ones to feel actual pain about investing themselves in only to be abandoned. But the ones who are for real, who want to meet each other and find someone to be loyal and dedicate themselves to; that would be what the other area was for.

Wow, that got really deep. <.<

>>13 I agree with the majority of your words. But how would you ensure the people joining will be 'serious' and 'loyal'? I mean, even with membership, there would still be people posing as other people as well as cybercrime. Your idea of a invite only/providing Skype or email account to join area was great, but there would still be no guarantee, considering one person could ruin everything.

In the end, the non-equality you speak of will only get worse as the dollars are split into two halfs, the people in the area, and the people who aren't.

Besides, how do we even define who is serious and who isn't?

In my opinion, the membership you speak of is kind of an act of satisfaction. By being provided with some kind of information of the other party, it makes you feel more at ease to talk to them, am I right?

P.S. You're right, the dollars in the real world are not equal. But many members want the current dollars to be as close to the anime as possible, a community where we help each other. That's why, I believe it's wrong to say some of the dollars are not serious just because they want to stick around and not do anything. It's just like judging other people; aren't they part of the dollars too?
