Maybe, to make the system more organized, there could be a search for the "view all threads" tab? It would definitely make it easier to find people in your state/province/country.

No, I wouldn't like to have a search bar.

Since we don't have ways to delete messages, the difficulties to find old ones enforces the right to be forgotten, and enable us to post freely, without worrying about what the posts will look like in the future.

Hm I see some positive but also some negatives aspects.

Positive:
1. Less duplicates. The amount of copies I have seen (and aggressive replays/new rage threads, because their thread got deleted/permsaged) because people are too god damn lazy to scroll through some threads are a joke.
2. More organized for people who want to check something quick.


Negative:
1. Lazier users who would probably not even take some minutes off to read the rules/FAQ, because it is so boring to them. Let's be honest, most of the time only the first 100 threads are somewhat active. If reading those view threads is too much for you then I'd question how important the whole thing is to you.
2. Embarrassing, old threads popping up again and becoming entertainment for other users.


Now since the negative overweight the positive in my opinion I thought about an alternative. What about creating an Index thread on every Board which gets updated from time to time. That way personal threads will still disappear after a while, but the others could still be found quite fast.
