"Jobs" Section (9)

I was looking through the other threads on the sidebar, and it got me thinking: the Dollars are about helping people, right? Well, how about a sidebar section for helping people find a job? (I don't know how else to put this: either a link to a thread where sports and technology are listed or a subthread where missions and suggested are listed.)

Of course, people would have to prove that they are worthy of a recommendation, but having the Dollars at someone's disposal is basically like having an anonymous LinkedIn network. People would have more connections, which would, in theory, be beneficial for the unemployed to find work. Simply passing someone's resume through to the boss could go along way in helping your fellow Dollars, so why not set up a section on this site dedicated to making that happen?

Lastly--and this is unrelated to my post, but I feel I need to add this in--I know "B-Food" is unprofessional, but I just can't seem to be comfortable enough to post my name on this site just yet.

I would like to clarify further that this is mainly for those who are willing to move to find a job. Jobs based on the poster's location only can try their luck in the "Countries" board (which, for those who don't know, also include threads for each U.S. state.) But, for someone like me who would relocate in wherever area I can find work, a new section or subsection could prove beneficial.

I am not a fan of replying to my own posts when no one else has, but I have a correction to make. I have learned that what I am talking about is called a "Board" or "Sub-Board", so I would just like to clarify that.

I will not be talking to myself anymore, but I do encourage feedback on this idea.

BBS's age group isn't old enough for this sort of thing. Sorry, pal.

I know that the majority of us aren't in our 20s, but they are still teens... Isn't that old enough? Do teens not need jobs anymore when they're preparing for college?

>>6 There is the internet, besides, i highly doubt that much people will contribute to it.
after all there the internet with jobsite for local listing or the person to get up and walk / drive to places and ask for a part time / full time job.

>>7 It can also be for tips and stories. That is more valuable than everyone doing collective job research, something you can't really get from research alone. Experience is valuable.

I think this whole thing would fit nicely in a thread for now, probably on Personal or Random. I've been thinking about making one for a while.
