I’ve noticed that missions are getting confusing. I think I found of a simple way to make them more organized and easier to understand what is going on. I got this idea when I was looking over the ‘Twitch Raiding’ post. It was a good idea and seemed fun but as I scrolled down I instantly got lost.
I think we need some sort of template to fill out when suggesting missions, so I made one. I put it below with information on how to fill it out.
Before I let you view it I just want to say the person who posts the mission should be the only one filling it out on the thread. I think it would make it less confusing for people who want to find the official one so they can participate. They can leave area’s blank meaning that section is open for ideas.

Summary: What we will be doing and why you think it would be a good idea.

Date: Day, year and even time. You can also put how long it is if there is a set time.

Location: Is it set in one location? Global? Online [put the link]?

Requirements: Is there an age requirement? Do we need money or any other materials?

Details: This is where you would put the plan. What exactly is going to happen and how.

Other: If you have anything else you want to include. I think this would be a good place to put any questions you have any.

Contact: How people can contact you if you want to give out this information. If not you can always write how often you will be checking the thread. If you use the chat rooms you can always post information for that so they can ask you questions.

If you post a mission you should take control of it and act as the organizer/planner. I’ve noticed on this site that someone will post a mission and it would get confusing by multiple suggesting, so make sure to check often and post updates on how the mission is changing [or not changing]. When everything is thought through post a final update with the final form filled out. Remember to act as the final voice since you did set this up.
Try to keep the number of people who are planning this to a minimum and make sure to post their information under the Contact section.

Not bad, though I don't know for sure if the current system the site uses would allow supplied templates for topic posts.

Just to be clear I meant when someone has a mission they have thought about they would just fill out the form and post it. I think it would be more organized and easier for people to tell the difference between a suggesting and an actual mission.

Since not everyone will even do a form if it's not mandatory to do, IE, if it's not actually forced into the post box. The majority will hastily make the mission.

True. I just thought that if people wanted to, they could use it. Also that it would make the mission section more organized. I also full well understand that no matter what I say I will never get 100% of people to follow it since like you said, it isn't mandatory. I still think it's a good idea to get it out there because even if a few people do use it the mission section will be slightly more organized. Also another way you can think of this is for the ones who want to make a mission they can use this to plan one out.

I am going to redo this topic as a proper suggestion, in regards to actually making it part of the text box if possible, where it only works in missions. Though I also want to use the same topic to see if polls are possible.
