Is anyone else tired of seeing all the email list, skype group, Kik, etc. threads all over the boards? We have no clear place to put them, and it really doesn't make sense for so many of them to be on Main since it just floods the chats with newbs who never respond again.
I suggest we add a new sub-board specifically for community made chat groups, meet-ups, conventions, etc. This would also take the weight off insisting there be "official" groups for each service since we won't have to worry about extra threads flooding Main.

Communications subboard appears to be becoming an increasingly desired board. How important do you guys think it is to have this feature? If the idea gets enough support, Reltair will likely consider adding it to the subboards of Main.

It could definitely be worth a try. I just feel adding too many boards leads to even more frustrations about users not putting stuff in the right board. "Moderating" they claim.

Barabi, I think it's a safe bet to say that this subboard would be incredibly useful with the still increasing number of social media posts, and it seems to be generally supported. No negatives yet. I'd say it would be okay to shoot Reltair an email about it at this point.
