Ight, so we got da backend ass stuff bein' talked 'bout, but we ain't talkin' 'bout the front end shiz. Lez gooo.
So, the BBS design looks fantastic, amazing. The actual look of the site doesn't need to be changed. However, all of the html and css we use to present our site with is SHIT compared to what it should be today. That's nothing against Reltair or whoever designed this at all. I just feel like it needs to be updated.
So, let's talk about what needs to be updated. For one, let's go responsive with grids. You may ask, what's responsive? Responsive design
is is an approach to web design aimed at crafting sites to provide an optimal viewing experience—easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling—across a wide range of devices (from desktop computer monitors to mobile phones). I'm the sort of person with the web standard philosophy of
GO RESPONSIVE OR GO HOME. With the rise in use of mobile devices being used to browse the web, it's only reasonable to have a website that functions accordingly to the device. There are many frameworks that can help us get the job done. Let's take a look at some.
Many backend web developers want to push out their code fast, and don't have the time, or possibly knowledge to create asleek and responsive design. For this reason, they may want to take a look at Twitter's
Bootstrap. The same thing can be said about
Foundation.
