I am not sure if this is technically feasible, but it seems when I am writing a longer post, it would be quite useful for proofreading if I could re-size the window I am writing in. Making it big enough to see the entire post at once would make it much easier to proofread. Newgrounds allows this when writing reviews for content, and I thought it might be a good idea. What do you think?
If you really want to make something that needs a tldr, it would be in your own best interest to put it into an actual document that allows spelling&grammar checks
>>2 I could do that, but it would be easier if I could just resize the window from inside the site instead of having to copy it out every time it gets big. Plus, the box is only big enough to fit 5 lines, which isn't exactly a TL;DR.
I'm interested again in this idea. I don't know how time consuming it is, but in the past few days I think it would have been very useful for me (and others).
Sorry for the shameless self-bump, etc, but I think it's worthwhile.
Guys, it will literally take Reltair about five seconds to do this. All he has to do is remove one line from the CSS file (he put in the style exception "resize:none" to apply for all textareas). I'm not sure why he turned resize off to begin with (probably to avoid breaking the layout when users resize it), but if he's okay with turning it back on, it will only take a second to do.
We'll have to ask him, though. If he specifically set it so it can't be resized, there might be a problem / bug with it resizing that he can't fix atm.
