I'm kind of thinking that there needs to be a category on the left for people from chats who just have no other method of getting back in contact with someone they met via chatroom.
Enough of this "Rosario543, I will find you..." bullshit all over other categories, INCLUDING Main...
This way, people can post who they're looking for in hopes of finding they're lost contact without getting bitched at.
Secondly, a search engine. Sometimes it's a bit of a hassle finding threads so you don't wind up posting a newer copy on accident. I know that this'll mean we need tags, but in the long run, I think that this would be hella convenient.
I think the "Find a person from chat" board would be useless. Keep in mind, this chat doesn't belong to us. It's a public chat, and can be found through google.
Since it can be found through google, there are a fair amount of people going there that isn't from our site. If a person from our site meets someone from somewhere else, and loses touch with them, and then post in said board, the lost person would not find the thread, since they'd have no knowledge of the site.
Also, we've had tons of threads suggesting with add in a search bar. We have View All Threads and ctrl + f. All it requires is just knowing a word so that you can find the thread. Not even that, as long as you know the person who made the thread, you can find the thread in question.
Define useless. Technically all sections excluding main are pretty useless to the site, but others find use in them and so peeps don't clutter up main or other sections. Even if people won't be able to find each other often, so far the people I've chatted with know this site, doesn't mean all of em do, but just a good bunch of em. It's a section for people to go to in order ro reconnect or make inquiries about chatrooms.
And the method of searching u mentioned isn't possible for a phone, right?
