>>3 I disagree with making a sub board just to get rid of the group threads. If we keep getting rid of threads and putting them in a sub board or something, then Main will become empty.
I shall provide some facts: Before the Missions board was made, we allowed Mission threads to exist on Main. Main was around what, 300 or something threads, not counting all of the spam and stuff before permasaging made threads get deleted.
Now that the Missions board was made, Main is now at 159 threads, well a couple threads less than that due to some spam and such. Now, if we take away the group threads... Too lazy to count them. But then again, there's only like... what, 5 group threads?
But then this would lead to a different point, that that's too little of threads to make a sub board. Sub boards, or just boards in general, are made for when shit gets too much in the Main board. Mission threads apparently was getting to be too much for Main, and so there was a Missions board. Country/location threads was getting to be too much and so Countries board. Suggestions... Well, there was a thread mainly for Suggestions, which was at like 200 posts, but I think it was the fact that people failed to look at the posts prior to the main 3 posts you can see that it was made, I guess.
So yeah, just making sub boards is not a way to solve issues, at least not for Main, because then it would leave the board practically barren.
As for the original problem at hand, I really don't think it's that big of a problem. And so what if there's no discussion? The threads weren't made for discussing in the first place. It was for sharing the profiles and whatever, just like the deviantart profile sharing thread in the Art board. And if you can say the same thing for the FAQ thread, there's rarely any discussions, just bumps. Or that "Use the View All Threads button" thread, that's also all bumps. These threads, plus the Group threads fall under the one of the three criteria for belonging in the Main board, and that is "Important topics", at least in my opinion.
