I think we can make something as a dollar radio program, or maybe "the News" about interesting things that have been mentioned in our page each week. Just something like that.
Or maybe an option to upload sound archives. I would be glad if the administrators let me do it ! My news will be upload on enlglish and spanish.

We do have a news board... As for music, hosting a radio station is a lot more effort than you make it sound. In order to run an internet radio station, you have to pay royalty rates for every song you have, every time it's played. You have to pay to legally post lyrics, and you have to encrypt the music so people can't rip the music from your station without your permission, or the permission of the artists. You have to buy server space for your listeners to stream from, along with the bandwidth that goes with it. You have to concern yourself with the question of whether or not you have to have adds between songs, and how to make the station available to Dollars only. The equipment needed to be purchased is also a major function, along with a backup powerswitch that will reboot the station in the event that it goes down.

I don't think this is going to work particularly well, to be honest, if you want to go for an all-out online radio station that's live and everything. However, it is possible to take care of some of the concerns with a bit of cheating. Rather than having it live, have it prerecorded, and we may be able to host a music player on another site. In its playlist, we can label each "episode" with a date of what day of the site that represents. Someone would have to be in charge of the project. Then, you would need to put a cohesive team together. If it is going to accept public admissions, you would need someone who will constantly be in charge of email support who knows how to reply to bad submissions without pissing anyone off.
It's a really complex project no matter which way you go. And, to be frank, I've taken up enough projects and won't be participating. If one of you guys want to take up the initiative, I can help out and give you some ideas and links to good, free playlist uploading/creating sites.
Oh, yeah. We're not going to be having any sort of music on this "radio station", just to make that clear. We can't afford rights. If someone wants to sing an original song, go right ahead, but we want an email that clearly states that you understand we are not responsible for any theft that may ensue from our listeners.

If you want a RADIO, you should take it upon yourself to create and host one online. The best bet is to use Shoutcast, as it's free, and you need to host it from your computer, and online.
