I was thinking that we could have one post listing of all the different social media outlets that the Dollars have, and update it as we spread (maybe re-thread it as V. 1.0 , V. 1.2 so that the information is more readily available for everyone), instead of having so many individual threads about them (Facebook, Twitter, e-mail groups, text msg. groups), that we can't fit them on the Main Board.
This would clear up some clutter for more important stuff.
Wish that I could, but I'm not online enough to keep it updated. We'd possibly need small group that are in touch already to keep it relevant. After all it'd need to be on the Main Board 24/7 so as to deter people from simply posting yet another "I love it! is there a facebook page for this?" topic. Maybe people living in multiple time zones, which wouldn't be hard to find.
Also I'd guess it be updated weekly, quicker then that in the beginning, since there are so many, I doubt that we know them. But then admins of such smaller groups can post in the thread, and they'd be shown in the next "issue" (perhaps give the name of the admin of each particular group? if they want to I'd guess)
Or, better idea, you make the thread, and "secretly" ask people who are on for a huge chunk of time throughout the day to keep in on the main page for x y z reason
My assumption is your talking about making another thread index, but for every social network that has been asked about. Its not really that hard. And as for keeping it updated, that doesnt make much sense. There would be no point to, the whole point of an index is to make it so people stop making duplicates, therefore erasing the need to "update" the list
