I think it would be an improvement to the site if the View All Threads page would be sorted alphabetically, by date of last post, by file size, etc.

So I just had an idea, and didn't feel like making a new thread and since this thread had the same idea as I did. The idea was having another column in the View All Threads button, including the post, last post, file size, etc. I was thinking Reltair could add in a Name column, because sometimes I remember the name of the person who made the thread, and sometimes i remember the title of the thread. Having both would make it damn easy for someone to search. Comments?

I wholeheartedly approve of such a new organizational method. Searching for threads in the current way can be a pain in the ass if you can't remember the title, but can remember everything else about it.

Well, should also remove the file size column also, I don't think it's useful for our searching purposes. So yeah, replace file size column with Name column. I got two comments for it, that's good enough for me! To the email, ho!

If it isn't too much of a hassle to implement, I'm all for the idea as well. The View All Threads archive is kind of a clusterfuck as it is with all the misplaced threads, more organization is definitely appreciated.

As earlier said, itd be good to replace the file size tab with a name tab, because what if someone wanted to suggest a thread they made, nobodys going to know the file size, but everyone is going to know the name, because it was told to them.

But there is date of last post column. It's after the post column, and that's after the thread title column. And how would it fall under alphabetically?

I didn't want to make a new thread since this one exists but I was wondering if it might be possible to get a second view all threads button that is added to the bottom of each page, just to make things faster and not have to scroll back up to the top of the page to click on it.

Im aware of that, but for a moment i thought it takes you back to the main board cuz someone is awesome enough to make that possible. But alas

yeah...it should be able to be categorized by the viewer so it's easier to find threads and then we wouldn't have people saying "oh i couldn't find the thread."
i think it would be good if it were kind of like Itunes in a way

Hmm, here's an idea. Is there a way that this thread as well as the Description FAQ thread can be permanently placed at the top? That way we won't have to keep bumping the threads that newbies NEED to read so that way they can actually READ it before making mistakes and causing some of the senior members here to chew their heads off? I mean most of the time newbies don't read is because it isn't at the top of the page, hence they think it isn't "important" enough to spend the time reading it when we all know they should do so anyway.

I'm sure people know of the "Over the fold" technique right? Where all important content is at the top of any newspaper/website page? So if there was a way to just keep important threads at the top regardless if it's been bumped or not, that way all people can see it when they first enter the main and etc. Just spewing out ideas here. *shrugs* :3

Yes, this would make things much simpler. But the question is, can it actually be done? and if so, will the people running the show even bother?

This thing was made about a year ago, while I'd say it's safe to believe this isn't happening, I guess I'll chime in.

I don't see the point of sorting things alphabetically. I suppose you meant to include all of those options, but considering all one needs to do is Ctrl+F and type a few letters in to find a particular post I don't get the value in it.

Looking back in the past posts, it was settled with a Author column.

Also, they wanted a toggle, as well. So uh, why did Sleepology bump this if it was settled already?
