How about this: One mod for each board. And for Main, the Mods of all the others boards can work together, that way it will be easy to keep an eye on Main almost 24/7.

Mael has dibs on Anime. Xion has dibs on News, maybe. Food is maybe Ayanavi... Or Chitose. Does this include Sub boards? Because then, I'd take Visual Novels. Or Ayanavi. Or hell, Pintapau. Ugh, too many mods though, is the problem. I don't think Reltair has time to hand pick the mods. And I dunno who'd volunteer for each board mod. Except, maybe Mael. But whatever.

As far as I know, Reltair has been working on integrating a mod system. However, it could be a while before we ever get one. The best most of us can do as of now, is to try to control the sites trolls and stupidity with the responses we give (or don't give, depending on the troll).

Yeah... I'm not seeing where kabuto's getting his rage from. Mods got put there because the community asked for it and Reltair is often too busy to handle everything but the most important things.

For that matter, the people who end up modding would logically be people Reltair trusts enough to not be royal douchebags.

And even for that matter, threads we consider to be unfairly moderated can still be complained about and rescinded by the admin. They're role on BBS is to be a janitor squad, not a ruling hierarchy of tyrants.

We have normal members for that stuff. Like the yelling, and the fussing, and the insulting and butthurt about stuff. We've been doing this for a year without mods already.
