Long time fans of durara do you think there will ever be a fandom like durara again? I a BIG TIME fan of durara since i was about 13 (I'm 18 now yeah soooo old) but i remember so many versions of the dollars chatroom and catching with other anonymous fans and I just overall remember having a blast. Do you guys think something like that could ever happen again?

i think a lot of people are becoming interested in older anime so i really hope so. i remember when the drrr chatrooms were full of actual fans now it's all nsfw chats. i miss the old days of finding so much shizaya fanfiction. i was 10 when i first got into it and now i'm 20, and being on this site makes me so nostalgic, i wish i could relive those days.

It's great yall are fans but I really don't think anyone that young shouldda been on this side of the internet. O_ O" I hope you both were lucky enough to not run into David Liveleak or something...

Unfortunately I don't believe another fandom like this will happen. I could be wrong and maybe something similar that is close enough will come along, but it seems to me that the internet is simultaneously becoming more fractured while also being less explored. If something like DRRR were to come out today I imagine it'd have a lot of fans, but most of them would settle for watching shorts on Youtube or Tik Tok rather than seek out any sort of chat or forum. A lot of the older community types are dying out. Being replaced by streams, shorts and the occasional discord server. =/

Somethings are a once in a life time experience and yet there is a chance for either a resurrection or a spiritual successor. I love to let a thing B , to let it live , and to let it perish according to the dictates of our reality. Let Fate decide.Just be glad your were fortunate to experience it.
