I'm alive but, not living.
I am breathing to live but, unable to take a breath to feel alive.
I search for healing but the path is riddled with pain.
I see what's ahead of me but, my eyes strain from looking to long.
I acknowledge what's around me but, my perception only sees the fake and flawed.
I sleep in solace but, awake tired of solitude.
I yearn for answer but, close my ears to the responses.
I imagine the plans and possibilities but, I never act on them.
I want to cease to exist but, I know I just want to cease my suffering.
