better parents (2)

it sucks having abusive/narc parents that didnt help you into adulthood or teach you how to adult and then shame you for not knowing how to do things the moment you become an adult and then to also shame you for learning to become one. Does anyone else get this? Learning to become who you are and build yourself without the support of people who promised they loved you?

Isn't it weird being alone? why is silence so painful sometimes? why do parents bring children to life if they don't intend to let them grow, teach them, or like them?

I really get it. And it always sucks so much trying to catch up on things others seem to feel are natural. I think it takes a lot of patience and kindness towards yourself to overcome these kind of things, bc it can be rough. It also sucks when someone claims their love is unconditional but it very much is not. It can be incredibly painful and awful, but please know you're not alone and it's also important to remember that just bc your parents can be callous and cruel doesn't mean that others are. Sending all the best and lots of love (Sorry for the rant :) Going through something similar currently)
