Some things I usually take care to notice about myself is how I act under stress. Do you tend to over or under indulge yourself, in terms of food, sleep, or fun activities? Do you tend to let out your anger right away, or do you deny your anger, or do you tend to suppress your anger - and how does my form of anger management make things more difficult for me or other people? And of course is, how do I remedy/dampen these bad habits in my day-to-day life?
Also, am I more externally or interally motivated in terms of my goals? What is my deepest fear– not talking phobias, but on a psychological level, what am I the most afraid of losing? Pride, self-control, power, identity, my sense of belonging, etc?
These questions came to mind first because I'm really into personality theories, though - MBTI and Enneagram. Studying those might help you get to know yourself better, and you'd see why those questions are so related to those theories if you do. If you're interested I know some good internet sources to start reading up. If not, still wishing you good luck with your self-reflection!
