So my girlfriend and I have been dating for a little over a year now, and we had a great relationship. Recently, she went to a religious camp with a friend, and stopped talking to me for the better part of a week. She then went on a vacation with the same friend who took her on this camp and was being kinda distant. Yesterday, she said to me that she wants to be just friends because she "Found God", and I don't want to lose her yet. I feel like I'm trapped in a corner with this problem and I don't know how to fix it. Any advice or help would be appreciated

Not much advice I can give because I'm not a religious person.
What little I can san is that it seems like an excuse. I don't know what kind of experiences she made, but she might really have changed. Nevermind the fact that she went with a friend, which is kind of suspicious anyway, you should ask yourself: Would you be willing to change for her, maybe even adapt to her religious ways? Because if you are not, I fear that you will not be able to affect her strongly enough for her to change her attitude. If, however, you feel like you could walk that path, it might be worth a try, but do not forget that she might very well just use it as an excuse.

So to sum up: If you are not willing to change for her, then you have to let go and accept her decision.
However, even if you are ready to follow that religious lifestyle and decide to live like that together, remember that there is a big chance she might just be using it as an excuse to avoid an awkward conversation.

What Shin said, except, not what Shin said. You shouldn't have to change for this girl she should just love you for the beautiful person you are. And if she wants to chose a god over the person who wont abandon her then so be it. Stay strong, and remember to love yourself before anyone else. x
