It is normal to gain new friends as you grow older. I have had friends all over the country and now barely keep in contact with any of them, even ones I used to call my brothers. But life goes on and times change, things you like when you were 13 won't be things you are interested in at 15, 18, 20, 30, or 40. We adapt to our new surrounding and evolve socially with the winds. So my best advice you guys can be friends, don't make issues where there are not, but try and branch out and try new things and meet new people, you might find you like it better that way in the long run. People hate change but change is a critical part of life and will make you a better more well rounded person.
