I was in a car accident today. My mum was driving and she just lost control of the car on a roundabout and drove into a ditch. thankfully none of us (my sister, my mother and I) were hurt.

we hadn't even got out of the car when a couple pulled over to help and make sure we were alright. They then phoned the police and an ambulance (just in case), drove me home to look for my mum's insurance documents, drove me back to our car and waited with us until the ambulance was ready to take us to the hospital.

I was so shocked by how kind they were. And while we were waiting for the police at least 4 or 5 other cars pulled over to see if we were okay,and whether we needed a lift.

I didn't think people did this anymore. This has restored some of my faith in humanity.
