Q: Is it geared more toward downtempo stuff?

A: Its just so happens that the composers in Dollars that we've come to know largely made that kind of musics, so don't let that stop you from submitting! Whether it be rock, jazz or anything really.

Quick update for anyone confused:

Dollars Radio is not dead or gone forever. I actually recently added some new submissions.

For the moment, I'm just waiting for a new ethernet cable to stabilize the stream's connection.

Until then I won't be putting up the stream. If anyone has any questions, you can find me in the IRC like usual.

Los Rald had it rough

Aye, I have to move some furniture around before I can setup the stream again. Give it some time.

Heres one question. I don't see it on youtube. Will you create something like, a code for some mission?

This project kinda flopped actually, so yeah its down. But we did actually manage to broadcast for a few days every few days (That kinda a weird sentence) for almost a month or so before giving up entirely. I can't actually remember how long we stayed on-air, oof.

And because we're actively avoiding copyright claims at all costs, we resorted to scour the entire Dollars community in search for members that composed original songs. 4 composers might not be much, but you might as well call it a win when you're able to gather that much composers from a group that doesn't primarily aimed itself as a musical group.

Also, Missions are overrated. Codes might not be so, though. Currently, we have no idea what to do with the channel. Did you know that members throughout the years had already made 3 Dollars channel that are now dead? Yeah, we're the fourth. Instead of falling for the same pattern just blabbering about Mission, we took a radical approach and started a radio channel instead.

It also flopped, of course. But while it lasted, a few of us cared enough to show that anyone could achieve something in this community with enough determination. At least we didn't just make a thread ordering people to get it real, but do nothing instead of working towards the goal that they preached.

So lets flip the question,
What kind of video should one make if you created a Dollars channel?

AWW. I mean, Ryōgo Narita already said that he loves it when people make doujinshi of his stories, so mabye that same mentality applies to this? It would be awesome. There are so many ways to move this site in an, well, amazing manner, its just a matter of finding some way to cooperate. Idk what I'm talking about.
TDLR: I really really wanted to listen to Los Rald, so its a shame. WHAT CAN WE DO FIRIRON???

It is actually zengat who broadcasted the stream, but he's in a busy time of the year rn. Probably gonna try asking him on how to set up the stream, so look out for that i guess...

I thought the radio channel was a neat idea, too bad I wasn't active 'round here a month earlier to see it up.

It turns out that having some 16 looping tracks for hours on end gets old pretty quick, personal opinion btw.

We're still proud of what we've achieved though, if we could stream regularly for funsies and aired something interesting in between, perhaps we could get somewhere. Just a random idea though, don't take that seriously.

Um, I meant to say, if we just broadcasted in just one area, wouldn't that just make the area in which the radio was on part of the dollars? I hope it starts back up.

We're currently airing, still experimenting here and there though so expect 4th wall breaking.

Wait are allowed to make audiobook-style content out of essays and poems from literature board?

As long as it was credited properly, I suppose? A pretty grey area over there I suppose, maybe create a prototype about it first before asking anyone else to write something for a chance to be audio-fied?
