Hello! Recently I've been getting into more vintage type music and jazz. Anyone have any good recommendations? I like Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, and Carmen McRae so far. :D

Chet Baker, foremost—especially his vocal stuff
other vocal jazz to peep is Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn

for instrumental jazz—Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Mal Waldron, John Coltrane etc

I'm surprised that none of y'all have brought up John Coltrane or Courtney Pine. really good jazz musicians.

Like >>5(Amber) said, John Coltrane is really nice, miles Davis is probably one of the best jazz musicians ever, jaco pastorius as well, pat metheny, Dave Brubeck, etc... you have so many, one of the important thing is to understand where they fit in the jazz world, knowing that will probably help you love them more
