Sadly, Monsta X's rescheduled tour dropped my original city, so looks like I won't get to see them anytime soon :( I had a good seat too, but can't be helped I guess!

I'm Once, I love Twice since 2018, when I start to listen kpop.

I listen to Key's (Kim Kibum) solo songs a lot, also SHiNee and JHope's songs, but I listen to kpop's songs in general, even if before I was more on bts, seventeen and monsta x .
But yeah it's a great musical genre for me.

Hey, I really don’t want to be rude but, what is the appeal of K-pop? From an outsider looking in, it seems kinda like a toxic industry where people are just signed on shitty contracts that force them to basically be slaves for a corporation. But to be fair, I’m a anime fan and my community is full of studios literally paying animators next to nothing. But is there another appeal, am I only seeing the mainstream sources of K-pop/ is there more underground indie artists? Idk, but if there is one thing I hate more than anything else it's people who judge something without really even trying to understand it first. I’m not trying to be toxic. I just find the K-pop industry really intriguing so yea.. To be fair I don’t really love the music but to be fair I’ve only been exposed to the incredibly basic and mainstream shit (BTS) and if I judged the entire genre based off that it would be like watching Naruto or playing Mario and saying that you’ve seen the best anime or gaming has to offer. Idk what I’m trying to say in this post other than give the point of view of an outsider and get some opinions from you guys (on how wrong I probably am lol). So id love to hear some song or artist recommendations if you got any :)

Leaving aside bts, I can recommend you "coco bottle" by "Penomeco" or "party" by "Sik-k".

Under kpop there are different genres, so.. you could perfectly dislike some songs and others maybe love.
But anyway, if you listen to one of the songs I recommended you, lemme know what you think about it, I'm curious.

Sry about the late response, I’ve been busy with life stuff recently. I listened to both songs and I thought that coco bottle was okay with some cool visuals (I’m a animation geek) but I thought that party was fucking fire. I loved the beat of the song and the whole thing kinda just had me vibin from start to finish. For me tho, the highlight of this song was definitely the beat, I’m really into low fidelity music (Lo-Fi) and it was really giving me those vibes. So ye... thanks for the recommendations Kaster
