Twenty One Pilots is an Alt rock band formed in 2009 in Columbus Ohio by two college friends Tyler Joseph and Nick Thomas. They got started on soundcloud but are currently signed to Fueled by Ramen. Their first two records are self released, but their latest is on Fueled by Ramen.

Frankly, I found these guys early last year with their single "Holding onto you" and I kinda feel in love and heard absolutely nothing from them until "Car Radio". They do a really good job at making you think and dance which is something that I love. Also you gotta love a guy who slips what could pass for screamo into his songs. All in all, great band.
My girlfriend listens to this band all the time, and I personally hate them. They're annoying, whiney, and talk-sing way too much. Also, 'screamo' is still not a genre.
i've personally never listened to these guys, but since they're signed with fueled by ramen who i think have pretty good artists, i'll give them a listen /o/
and yeah theres like no other word for it besides screamo :/ like he does it a little in olding onto you and bangs out a chorus with it in Car Radio and I kinda love it. Dont usually but with him I do.
I had never heard of these guys until I saw them live at a music festival at the end of last year. Honestly, even though I didn't know the songs, they were the BEST performance of the whole damn day! Not to mention the drummer is super hot and had no shirt on the whole time...
They have some fantastic songs and I've been recommending them to everybody since I saw them!
