As I look upon the music board I often get disappointed with what I see. I once thought that the music board would be a melting pot of many different music genres and taste, but I now see that I was foolish for setting my expectations so high. However, among the disappointing post, there remains a handful of users with excellent taste that shed light throughout the music board by creating threads for excellent bands. (You know who you are) Despite the creation of the Music Discovery Thread, I'd figure I'd do my part and would make threads dedicated to one artist/band, starting with Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.
Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, or TEED for short, features the talent of Orlando Higginbottom from, Oxford, UK. His musical stylings vary from 80s sounding bangers, to breakbeats. With many sold out and successful tours across the world, TEED is considered one of the most popular indie dance producers today.
His live performances are quite interesting as well, not only with his colorful sense of fashion and headwear, but the amount of gear he uses to perform live. His booth traditionally consist of several synthesizers and mixers, and to see work is quite the site to behold.
TEED has released five EPs and one studio album but has a very long remix discography featuring such artist as Lady Gaga, Friendly Fires and Professor Green. His single "Garden" is one of his most recognizable songs for its use in a cellphone advertisement.
I highly recommend TEED for anyone who is interested in the indie dance scene, or anyone who wants to discover new music in general.
i like watching his live performance videos more than just listening to his stuff. mainly bc i think his performances look really fun/not just him standing behind his equip. i mostly listen to his stuff when i'm like, on a run :D
Bump. >>6 More on the way Yata, cause quite frankly, I'm getting tired of these shit threads. No offense to all the kids posting k-pop or j-pop threads or whatever, but I'm really getting sick of it.
