Let's face it.You all know escape the fate,or know someone who liks escape the fate.but if you haven't your missing out.while they be another postcore band.Their history,and powerful song messages is what makes them unique.founded in early 2000's by ronnnie radke(aka douchebag of posthardcore music).They were getting famous fast with only one album and a couple e.p's.my personal favorite memoray is when they did a van halen tribute to hot for teacher by van halen in the video for situations.However,things took a turn for worse when mr radke got arrested for failure to report a crime he had witness while on probabtion.so he got slapped in the face with a nice long sentence.All hope seem lost.till someone heard craig mabbit was on the hunt for yet another band,and was stuck between joining a skylit drive(because they always need more vocalist's) and escape the fate,lucky for the band.He deiceded to go to the band who had no singer,and it worked.later came -this war is ours- which took the scene by storm,(I even saw them live at warped tour). and thus became the new escape the fate.a coupleyears later came a self title album and it went on like that for awhile.....until a argument involving max green and craigg mabbit caused the band to go on pause for awhile.However they all stayed busy with side projects. Until recently in 2013 when etf announced a new line up which did not involve max green leaving 2 original members of the band left.But this does not stop the band.They are stronger then ever with a new single,and a new album on the way.My hope is this band never dies.they a great post-melodic hardcore band.with more history then you can shake a stick at.If you havn't heard them,go look them up! as for mr ronnie radke....well...we don't need to disscuss where he went.it's best you didn't know.

I only found out about this band cause I was a fan of Blessthefall, and so it was like "Hey Craig's in a new band" when This War Is Ours came out. I quite like that album, never cared for any of their other stuff.

And to totally be a braggart...my friend knows Craig personally. Like hang out at the guy's house for the weekend personally. We didn't believe him until he sent pics. <.<

Fuck you guys. I don't care what you say FIR and MCR are good. Mostly, MCR no one can deny that 'I'm Not Okay(I Promise)'and 'SING' as awesome songs. And as for FIR: I'm not a vampire and The Drug in Me is you. Don't knock it till you try it.
BTW I have listened to ETF before and they fucking suck.
