We all share the same internet. If we all logged on and typed in here, all of our IDs would come up different. It's because our IPs are different. There are two parts of an IP address. The main part is will appear the same, because it's the same network, but the last three digits will look different.
Here's an example.
Let's say that my IP address is 123.123.123.12
Then someone else logs onto the same network as me.
Their IP address would be 123.123.123.24
Therefore, different IP addresses. That would also mean, if we both logged on to here, we would both have different IDs.
