I play guitar. I have done so for over eight years. I practice for at least three hours a day, so I am pretty damn good (I am very arrogant about my guitar playing). I play lots and lots of metal, and I like to shred a hell of a lot.

I picked it up for a few months. I got the basic chords down, but I only learned to play three songs. "Carnival" by the Pillows, "Money for Nothing" by the Dire Straights, and "Smoke on the Water".

Smoke on the Water is badass. My proud accomplishment is finally being able to play "Don't Say Lazy" from K-on! on the bass without stopping to rest my arms.
I can play "You give love a bad name" by Bon Jovi, "Come as You Are" by Nirvana, "Viva la Vida" by Coldplay, "Sympathy for the Devi" by the Rolling Stones, "Barracuda" by Heart, several classical songs, and a self-composed Jazz piece.

Despite my skill at guitar, I am pretty crappy at bass. The frets are too big, the strings are too thick, the neck is too long and I cannot finger pick to save my life. I will stick with guitar and keyboard.

Officially getting a new guitar this month for my birthday. :D She's definitely going to be a Fender Strat, but I'm still working on deciding what finish I want.
As of now, I'm playing rhythm in my good friend's band and doing a lot of the vocals. I've only been playing guitar for a year or so, but he convinced me to join a few weeks ago after a lot of badgering.
