The Mountain Goats is by far my favorite band of all time.
With over 500 songs under their belt they have crossed all sorts of genres, from electronic/acoustic to country and western. It goes without saying, they have a song for just about everyone. Here is one of my favorite EPs; Satanic Messiah.

They are fairly hit or miss for most people. I always keep coming back to their lp All Hail West Texas.

The only song I know by this band I know because of a Wonder Years reference. Dunno if I like it or not, but I do find the band mildly interesting.
