Has there ever been a band that changed your life? An artist that made you see the world a little different? Or a group that made you feel whole? I have! The band that made me change and become who I am was Pierce The Veil! Who was yours?

"Bands" that changed my life?
No way that any of them are listed above.
U2 and Bruce Springsteen(w were my childhood shit bro. That got me into music. Linkin Park was the first band I got into on my own. Still give em' a spin for nostalgia every once and a while. Followed that with Thrice and Brand New, who have Dustin Kensrue and Jesse Lacey respectively, two extremely underrated lyricists in this generation. I like clever and unique lyrics. Maximum The Hormone got me into J-aboowhatever. A bit. God, they define insanity though. I also re-downloaded pretty much every U2 album out there this year too, and I found a newer respect for some of their work that I previously didn't like. SO YEAH. Come at me bros.
Pic is kind of related even though I didn't ask.

A lot of musicians and bands have really influenced and changed my life. I was introduced to Bon Jovi, my favorite, at a young age by my mom (a rock junkie who banned any music before 2001), who also recommended Journey. She led me to listen to Billy Joel as well. I got into KISS on my own though, as well as the Beatles.

I'm really enjoying what everyone is saying! It kinda make me want to open my eyes and ears and see what other music is out there.

I started listening to Disturbed back when they released their first album, The Sickness. It was about the time I started to play Halo: CE and I can still remember first hearing Down With the Sickness. I wouldn't say it changed my life though. It started it.

Coldplay. They introduced me to modern music. Up until then, I only listened to '90s music, and earlier.

For me it would have to be either At The Gates or Iced Earth. Before my friend showed me those bands I never really listen to music at all. Ever since then I've been constantly building my collection up to the 250 albums I have now.

Animals As Leaders.
Literally after listening to them, I was shown the amazing babe known as prog/experimental metal (and rock, go Battles!).
AAL made me LOVE music. It made me appreciate it.
Between the Buried and Me is up there too- found them after AAL, but BTBAM... is amazing. They bring out the emotions for me.
