Bumping because the
new album came out and I just listened to it.
I think it was a great decision to open the album with their cover of "Personal Jesus" because it totally pumps you up for the rest of the album lol. It's definitely MSI, but considering the fact that this was supposed to be their "lost" album, it wasn't as great as I had anticipated. I've listened to all their albums; in fact, when I was super obsessed with them I would listen to all their albums in chronological order (just to see progression/degression in the musical/lyrical quality) and this album, I'm sad to say, is not as great as the previous album.. =/ It's definitely got the MSI vibe, but it's not better than any of their other albums. The songs are ok. JUST OK. The album probably had more potential, but I have no idea where Jimmy's head was at. It gets better starting at Track 10, because it actually sounds like something Jimmy Urine would have written/recorded for the self-titled EP. Ugh...I don't even know how I feel about the songs that were in the self-titled EP being featured in this album as remixes...They were fine as they were. The album had a good ending. That's the track I would listen to consistently. Haha, well just check it out if you want. =/
