Inspired by Misuto's old compilation, I have decided to host yet another song for the Dollars Chorus, "Bad Apple", as performed by Nomico in the Touhou theme song, for those who are interested. I'll post his explanation so you understand what I mean.

Anyone ever see those NicoNico Chorus videos? The ones where groups of people (represented by icons usually) sing a song in a collaboration?
Donut and I came up with this idea at some point - it would be cool to have a Dollars Chorus, right?"

If you're interested, please post a link to your cover or send it to me via email (masterfirerose@aol.com). If you're not going to send it, understand that I don't care where you post it as long as it's not like LimeWire or something. You can put it on a video hosting site (YouTube, MetaCafe, etc.) or a site where I can directly download it.

If you want to do the dance to it, go ahead and send it, too lol I'll see if I can make a video with it, as well, if we get enough people.

I'm looking forward to this project though, I really love Bad Apple - Both the song, and its lyrics. It's a shame we can't do a dollars themed Bad Apple video, with our actual silhouettes transforming back and forth.

I can animate, but not that well! ;o; If we do have an animator in the house who is willing to do that, though, we could work something out.

I love the song and lyrics, too. My sister and I were working on a duet for it when Toto accidentally brought up Misuto's old thread. Hence why this is the song now lol

The Music section is really slow today :/ Or is it always this way?

Music, sports, and technology don't get much traffic compared to the others. Like the Visual Novel board, each one has a small portion of the community that will constantly frequent it.

It's because we're filled with weeaboos, they only come to the Music board for the anime desu music, and when they don't find any, they leave.

Well, I listen to everything, I don't discriminate. But weeaboos man. They think Japan desu will rule the world desu with anime, manga, and JPop. Desu. But we do get those who do listen to a variety of music here, thankfully. So it's not totally dead here.

Yeah, as insertnamehere said, most of the traffic to...well, all of the boards.. Are weeaboo tards who are into Japanese things by default. I have respect for those that aren't, and there are a few in the music board that talk about other types of music.

Then again, the ones that will join this chorus are likely to be among the former, since the song is in Japanese anyway. Here's hoping this becomes successful!

Once you get used to the lyrics, the song is easy to sing. You can down/up pitch it to fit your voice if you're afraid of the higher pitched parts, too. (Choruses sound better that anyway when there are a lot of pitches to choose from.)

I really don't see the point of making it a .rar file in the first place. Downloading and uploading MP3's doesn't take more than a couple minutes. It doesn't take long at all to upload.

I definitley can't do lead with my bass. I'm lucky to make it halfway through the first verse, so instead, I've been working on the beat, and using slap to create alot of buzz to make it sound more like the beat in the actuall song. I figure I would sound better laying down the beat to support anyone playing the lead.

Good new, and bad news.

Good news: I got a decent beat down for the song, and I'm happy with it.

Bad news: My camera can't seem to record the bass sound. Even with the amp turned up high, it can't seem to pick up any sound. I hope I can fix this :'(

I came back to visit after hearing the Complication compilation on my iPod, followed by a giggle fit and some (strange) nostalgia lol. I can't sing that high, but since nobody has been sending anything (nearly) in I'll just sing the harmony and send that in lol. I mean, if that's okay.
