My problem with them is that heaviness and aggression doesn't make you a great band without something to add to or counteract it.
That, and it's not like they were the first band to dress up weird on stage. Which isn't a particularly unique or endearing gimmick, anyway. Far as aesthetic goes, it's like they were trying to be a less cheesy, more mainstream version of a crappy black metal band, which worked, probably for worse.
Anyway, shite though this band undoubted is, I wouldn't call it fabricated. Just a lame and overblown. And generic.
