no, they're just taking a break. all of the members said they'll be back. not only that, but they had a European tour earlier this year

they wouldnt join anything like this...they might stumble across it and maybe say a few encouraging words, but i can't see them actively taking an interest in a site such as this. not because they're bad people or anything, but because they have better things to do or just don't want to be associated with a gang.

ok, so i do not know how many of you have heard of mushroomhead, btu there was a pretty big rivalry going on between the fans of the bands, but never really between the bands themselves. now fans of both bands are trying to get them to tour together. both of the bands have claimed, and in mushroomhead's case actively advocated, that they want a tour like that to happen.

^ As shitty as they are, I might as well inform. It's been a whole six years since the last release(thank shit). Their fifth LP is set to release this fall.

Actually, I take that back. It's not entirely bad compared to their last release.

I've never been a fan. In fact, I always hated this band for no reason.

Then I listened to them, and decided that their music was too bland to be worthy of my hate.

Having said that, Iowa's a pretty decent album fot when you're pissed off.

Sounded more to me like fabricated gimmicky aggression, but whatever.

My problem with them is that heaviness and aggression doesn't make you a great band without something to add to or counteract it.

That, and it's not like they were the first band to dress up weird on stage. Which isn't a particularly unique or endearing gimmick, anyway. Far as aesthetic goes, it's like they were trying to be a less cheesy, more mainstream version of a crappy black metal band, which worked, probably for worse.

Anyway, shite though this band undoubted is, I wouldn't call it fabricated. Just a lame and overblown. And generic.

There entire scene is a gimmick, bruv.
The whole pop metal shit is not aggression, it just comes off as angsty pseudo-edge kids.

I've changed my mind. I love this band. They're not the most creative and yes, they are overrated, but fuck it,they've got their style and they're good at what they do and it pleases me immensely.

Also new album's pretty good.
