yeahbro... Although I've taken a break lately, I'm usually the vocalist and lead singer for the few screamo bands that I've been in.
...also there was already a thread for this...somewhere...
ANYWHO, my favorite screamo bands are as followed; The Word Alive, Woe is Me, Alesana (favorite song is Sweetheart you are Sadly Mistaken, becuase of the potential it had to be badass as fuck, then it was made lolzy by all the 'gay' in it...), The Devil Wears Prada, BVB's old stuff (their new screams sound like shit...)and Asking Alexandria.. But I mainly listen to Hardcore music like... A Day to Remember, August Burns Red, Crossfaith, Born of Osiris, and Parkway Drive.

what i said is based on my own personal observations of people in my life, every single person i have met in real life who listens to screamo/core has been a douchebag. plus inhaling vocals arent singing. and every scene kid i met doesnt know how to mosh properly. and every single one of them ive met disrespects every other form of metal even their metal fore-fathers. im sure there are some good screamo bands but i doubt ill ever listen to it thanks to the people ive met who listen to it.
and f.y.i. flogging molly isnt screamo theyre punk.
also slipknot isnt screamo but i dont like slipknot either.

I don't listen to much of this kind of music nowadays, but I was really into it a few years ago. Some of the stuff I remember liking was like, Poison the Well, Fire in the Eyes of the City (a local New Jersey band), Endwell, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus (I'm not really sure if you could classify them as screamo, though), Underoath, and Noyalty (a local band from the Netherlands). There was also a lot of metal I listened to, like Trivium, All That Remains, It Dies Today, Arch Enemy, Devildriver, Dragonforce lol, Machinae Supremacy (a local Swedish band), Haste the Day, Still Remains, etc.
