Here's a few tracks:
Counting Stars

Aruarian Dance

Rest in peace.

Anybody here a fan of Nujabes? He was an amazing Japanese hip hop producer, who sadly passed away in 2010. Some people here might know him as the one of the guys who produced the [amazing] soundtrack for Samurai Champloo.
Really good music to just chill out to. If you haven't heard of him, I'm telling you to check him out right now. You don't know what you're missing.

Oh man. I can't say I knew him for anything but the soundtrack of Champloo, but knowing he was responsible for that masterpiece was enough. I heard about it when he passed away - without even being familiar with the guy's other works it made me terribly sad. I dare say it's music like his that let me give hip hop and other similar genres a second chance, rather than keep restricted to generic music in animu and the like, back when I first saw Champloo on Adult Swim.

I love the tracks you posted. Thanks for sharing.

I love his music. It sounds like awesome elevator music. I wish he was still here to be one of the artists to show what hip-hop can be

I love his stuff! I'm actually listening to Luv(Sic) Part. 4! Strange coincidence, huh? But, ugh. It gets me teary-eyed a bit(Lame I know, herpy derp derp), but his work is just so beautiful. ; ~ ;

Picked up a Nujabes Torrent on 4ch a while back... Glad I did, because I'd only heard his stuff from Champloo. Love his stuff, RIP Nujabes.

Almost got lost looking for this again, but here's the link, if anyone wants it:

I only know his stuff from Samurai Champloo. :/ Like "Aruarian Dance" and such. But that's mostly because I have all the Samurai Champloo soundtracks....

I was actually really suprised to see this thread, so thanks for posting.

If I'm not mistaken the group Deltron 3030 does the vocals in some of Nujabes' songs.

The song feather is one of my favorite too.

R.I.P Nujabes♪
I remember watching samurai champloo when I was like 11. That's when I first heard your music. 2011 and still listening~

You have ALL of the Samurai Champloo soundtracks? Including Departure? If so, I am extremely jealous of you. I've been looking for Departure for awhile, and I'm afraid most of the ones being sold online are bootlegs, and the non-bootlegged versions are ridiculously expensive.

>>9
Nice to see another Deltron 3030 fan on here.

Can't believe he died...
I'm usually not a fan of hip hop, rap, RnB etc but his music really got to me.

Thank you, anonymous.

Since making my first post in this thread (>>2), I can now say I'm a little more familiar with his works...

..And I have yet to find a single track that I disliked in any way. I could just listen to everything this man has made without any qualms. I'm just upset I didn't follow him before his death - he really was a great musician, and I'm only just now learning that.

Nujabes and the people he worked with (Shing02, CYNE, Fat Jon, among others) have become some of my favorite artists! We need more music like this out there in the world.

Nujabes is awesome, his music is just so relaxing. Without is music I would make it through the school days hahaha he was an artist and his music was perfect and relaxing. Samurai champloo was amazing as well, Nujabes and samurai champloo go together like Naruto and ramen haha.
