Btw... anyone more obsessed than me? =3=" I have 385 songs (like 60 of them are magnet xD).

The vocaloids themselves not so much, but I do seem to be obsessed with the nico nico singers and the choruses that group them together. I swear I have something like 6 different choruses of Rolling Girl, and another few individual takes of it as well. I'm still not as obsessed as you though.

Two of my favorite nico nico singers are Yoppei (how does he get away with all the stuff he does?) and Choucho. Anyone else have favorites?

My favourite vocaloids are Gakupo and Kaito (none of my friends seem to like them though =A= they tend to like the Kagamines, Luka and Miku more. Personally I think Miku's a bit... overused?)
As for niconico chorus... I envy the people who can sing Two Faced Lovers without stumbling. I've only listened to a few, though my favourite is Thousand Year Solo.

Yeah, Miku's overused. I prefer the Kagamine's myself, because lot of there songs are touching, and tell stories, while most of Miku's are usually pop love songs.

I recently downloaded the Vocaloid software. It seems pretty cool so far.
I suppose this would be the right place to ask if there's an english version available, and if it's impossibly more difficult to use.

I haven't tested these (full harddrive right now), but this may be what you are looking for. Honestly, I have no idea on whether it's easier or harder to use as I've never touched the software.

Apparently the Vocaloids in the torrent (file in first post) are the only ones with an English interface (either that, or I misinterpreted other information). The torrent is downloading full versions and not a (non-existent) patch, so make sure you have enough space. If this turns out to have no seeds I'll go digging again.

Whilst I'm here, I might as well give Project DIVA for the PC. Mind you, the game itself isn't complete yet so network mode and story mode won't work, but playing the songs individually works fine. Note that the full version for the PC is planned to have been finished around Christmas, so if you're lucky I might just find a full functionality version for you then.

If the audio is out of sync with the song or video (or both) the most likely reason for this is that the "Windows Multimedia Timer" is throwing it off. Unfortunately there are currently no known fixes for this issue, as even the developers are puzzled to why it is causing the problems. One anecdotal fix was to run Touhou 6 at the same time as Project DIVA, but as I haven't yet run into this problem and as I don't have Touhou 6 I can't say truthfully whether it works.

Of course there needs to be a lot of adjustment to make it sound good but that's the basics. Luka is definitely my favorite. Sounds like a girl, but rarely like a mouse or something. I do like the squeaky songs though, despite their squeakiness. And her outfit is also pretty cool. I like her personality as well, she's soft-spoken and big-sisterly. And the thing with tuna, which I also love. :P

Favorite song: Meltdown. Even though it has the squeaky factor, and it's not Luka, it's really quite epic, to use an old word. I like the video too.

Favorite video: Synchronicity: Paradise of LIght and Shadow. This is also not Luka... Still, major epicness here as well. Vocaloids+ fantasy theme= pure awesome. ^^

Lily reminds me of my ex-girlfriend, in which, we are stuck in a lost-love now... Second favorite :3

I really like Vocaloids. Most of their songs are pretty catchy and have interesting stories to them. I'd have to same my favorite song currently is "The Immoral Memory/The lost Memory" Which is a 3-person duet of Kaito, Len, and Gakupo. But yeah, Love vocaloids. Love the whole concept of it.

My favorite Vocaloid is probably IA because she sounds the closest to an actual human.As for utaites, it's probably Eco.I like her frail and innocent voice.Nano's pretty good too, but people have already mentioned her, but her actual songs that aren't covers are pretty amazing, like the ones on her newest albums.Her songs for Btooom were amazing, specifically Exist/Powerless, the second opening.Dasoku's lazy and manly voice is pretty cool too.A good composer is Goboumen.He's not really well known and he only has two songs, but the lyrics are relatable.Neru's(the producer, not Akita Neru) rock songs are always nice to listen to.

You guys do know that Vocaloids aren't artists; it's software that replicates voices (with a bit of a robotic aftertaste).

Plus, Vocaloids are only popularized due to them actually having designs as opposed to a pair of lips (as with Leon and Lola, the original Vocaloids).

Not that they are bad or anything, but in all honesty Vocaloids are overrated.

I definitely like Len a little too much. I've had "Character Highs" before, where I would fangirl a character for about a week, mostly for attention, then I drop it. Len's the only fictional character, well, only person I've fallen for EVER. I've been completely smitten by him for about 4 years and still counting. He's also made me a total shotacon. I don't mind the Older!versions, but shota len is definitely best.

To sum it all up, I used to be asexual, now I'm Lensexual. A single target sexuality, if you will.

My favorite vocaloid by far is Len <3. I think his voice is boyish and adorable (though it can be sorta manly sometimes <3). My favorite songs by him are migikata no chou, sora iro, monochrome baku, and checkmate. *nosebleed* I wonder if that makes me a shotacon?? (^//^ )/

Vocaloid are good the song, the composer (such as Shinzen No Teki-P, Monthy, Decom 27, Mambo Dead, etc, ) but I think they're too overused Hatsune Miku much,, I mean, every year they released new vocaloid such as Aoki Lapis, Ring Suzune etc, but it looks like there're no reason to have new vocaloid if they kept overused Miku too much,,,

Too much Miku figurine, nendoroids, fanarts, figma, merchandise, even in the concert, only around 3-4 song sang by other Vocaloid and the rest will be sang by Miku

I really vocaloids, especially the concerts. They are so lively and energetic and you can really feel that people are getting together for a common love. Also, as there are no 'soapy drama' or 'scandals' surrounding the vocaloids (unless we want them to! ^^) as there are with real life pop idols. I can really enjoy the music from the vocaloids rather than being surrounded by celebrity gossip.

I really like nekomura iroha's voice, but i hate her character design. I also love luo tianyi the first chinese vocaloid. of the more common vocaloids though, i think gumi's the best.

I cannot count how many Vocaloid songs I have listened to on daily since 2011. It might be the only genre I genuinely like listening to (laughs nervously). I currently love listening to Abu-se-ken, Utsu-P, Virgin Noize, Satsuki (サツキ) and Masa Works a lot, absolutely love how beautifully chaotic their music is. Rarely find any songs that are similar to their music. My favorite Vocaloids have always been Rin and Len, that never changed lol

I've loved vocaloid probably ever since this thread actually started! It feels like looking into a window to the past.
My favourite producer is Niki, they primarily work with Lily and make a lot of rock songs, their album ERROR is on spotify, I encourage anyone to take a listen. The best songs imo are Jitter Doll and +reverse as per my namesake.
