Feel like bringing something obscure to the surface? Perhaps want some musical suggestions from other Dollars members? Post in here then!

Right now I'm listening to a bit of The Polish Ambassador. Some strange guy decided to make a bunch of electronic tunes, reminiscent of chiptunes in my opinion. Of his, I'd suggest Space Kitten or perhaps Earth versus The World.

Now follow suit and post some music suggestions!

I've been listening to Candle Nine lately

Pretty nice, if a bit moody.

Wow, I really like. Very nice ambient music, I might grab an album of theirs to write to sometime. Thanks for the suggestion, Araya!

My next suggestion will have to be Telepopmusik. I really like their soft tempo with synth tones. My favorite of theirs is Breathe, it's very mellow.

I recently started listening to classical music. Grab some from http://classical.com

I also find Atari Teenage Riot quite nice

For anyone who likes rap/hip-hop (or who doesn't, hell, I liked it) or really "filthy" electro/dubstep.
(Actually, if it's the latter, I'd suggest checking out all of Skrillex's stuff)

If you like listening to music in other languages, perhaps you will like some German music? :D

The band is called "Silbermond", the song title "Ich bereue nichts" can be translated as "I regret nothing".
The music itself is rather sentimental.

I used to listen to the Distillers a lot. She's got a cool voice.
I like Drain The Blood more though, I think.

Somewhat related, the singer has a pretty great voice as well.
More of a straight-up rock sound though.

Ever since I heard his contribution to the soundtrack of Samurai Champloo, I have been listening non-stop to Nujabes. His main genre was hip-hop, but he himself didn't rap, he just made the music. He also did a mix of jazz and hip-hop that is amazing to say the least. Unfortunately, he was killed in a car crash at the age of 36.

Here are a couple of my personal favorites of his:

Peaceland, Spiritual State, and Flowers. Enjoy.
