I'm amazed
This place started my nowadays online presence a decade ago
I went from here to drrr.com, there I was recommended a indie site about a manga genre I didn't know well. I liked that genre, made friends there, including some that I saw IRL
The admin on this website struggled, lost his entire database (the site as it was then is gone), and they moved on to Discord.
A few years after joining that community, it was taken over by pains in the butt who banned every nice user.
I moved on to a second server, got along with the owner. I visited him twice. He was doing well the first time, awful the second time.
I proposed to support him financially to resume his studies as we were reaching our 30s and it was time for a change.
We have plans for the future together
