Does "Drama" in an Online Community Worth Remembering? (2)

If this doesn't belong here, just TELL ME. I'll delete it or something.

In an online community like these, conflict(s) were bound to arise. To those involved, they called it "Drama". As time goes, drama dissipates and the day goes on like nothing happened. Then new member comes around, interested in the community and read the archive. It is there that they found the remnants of the so called past drama, although not much are left since the mods swept the archive clean from any proof of its happenings.

New members are now curious, so they asked the other member who might've been involved or at least knowledgeable about the 'drama' only to be shutted off with "That old drama? We don't talk about it, my head hurts just thinking about it."

Of course, curious people will get their hands on that information no matter what. Just the matter of time, speaking from experience here.

But now the question remains, does hiding these past drama in an online community is the right thing to do? Should newer member learn about it or be oblivious about it?

P.S. To those who had been stuck around here for a while, you can probably guess what I'm talking about.
