I see you guys are really trying to keep certain posts on top by bumping them. I could code a bot which does exactly that. Just let me know whether or not you're interested.
I'm not sure about this. I think keeping a thread up top is about user interest and is also a kind of easy interaction posters can do now and then. Also not sure how admin would feel about this, though I don't really have an impression of them.
It has been brought up by the members throughout the years, whether we could (and should) make a sticky thread or something of sorts to keep the useful threads on top of the page and the less important threads below.
But of course that proposal was only brought up when we were facing countless spam threads back in the day, I don't think we'll need it in the site's current dormant state.
Though I do wonder how would the bot bypass recaptcha barrier, I feel like this discussion should be moved onto the Tech board.
