What do you think of this world (36)

1 Name: Al : 2017-12-30 15:18 ID:+WU6tGM9 [Del]

Here you can tell yours what you think of this world from various points of view. I'm really curious to know how many people think like me.

2 Name: Naga Sake !6QjZgZusd. : 2017-12-30 15:57 ID:EChq6WMU [Del]

The world just exists. There's nothing special at all man. We don't have souls, we're just flesh computers. Our consciousness isn't created by something special, it's an illusion. Morals are just made up man. We're all fighting entropy.

3 Name: Idrea : 2017-12-30 17:01 ID:U67aHfQl [Del]

I suppose I never really believed anything. That because there could never be proof neither for nor against an argument about morals or God or what have you, no one could ever know the truth.

>I'm really curious to know how many people think like me
Then what about giving us a little insight into how you see the world?
It'd be a great start for a discussion instead of just collecting everyone's views here.

I have the utmost faith in this world, and the people that inhibit it. I'm undoubtedly a cynic, but I refuse to give up the faith in the goodness of this world, and I feel that it's essential to continue the workings of kindness, and generosity to the the communities that you're surrounded with.

I feel that, each life is like a garden, and if you're going to occupy a space in someone else's life, it's best to plant a rose, rather than a weed. There was a Chinese proverb that say "every universe is twine with every other universe around it". Well, I think that in this context "universe" is a synonym for "life", and, your actions will always effect every "universe" that it's prescient in. Like throwing a pebble into a pond, then your actions break into the surface, it resonates, and reverbs across anyone who's able to witness your actions, be it directly, in-directly.

It's only myself that I feel brings the chaos about, I have my particular quirks, and that much is really obvious, but, as long as I can sate the rage inside of me, hope that I can at least offer to stomp down anyone who could be potentially worse than I am.

If I have to be evil, or toxic, then I would rather be the lesser of two evils.

I don't think spreading positivity matters that much, nor do I have any real hope in humans. I think everyone, and everything anyone ever does is at it's base level selfish.
You know why people don't care about global warming? By the time it sets in, they'll be dead. I can pretend that the reason I don't want kids is because "I don't want to bring another person into this world just to suffer." But actually, I hate kids, and I don't want another person on this planet to compete with for resources. I don't think good and bad are really inherently important like that. Though I feel like I'm actually totally missing your point.

>>6 Everything is connected, and everything flow into itself as a circular pattern. I'm as much of a nihilist as the next cynic would be, nihilism is about self-ownership, much like Satanism.

I do not care for hedonistic self-indulgence. If there's no meaning to life, then you have to create it. Nobody said you can't cultivate the futility of your time on this earth into something beautiful, if that's what you chose.

8 Name: Kaza : 2017-12-30 20:56 ID:kruiLrTR [Del]

I tend to find my beliefs all contradict themselves. I'm very cynival and pessimistic about the world, but I also have a habit of seeing the good in everyone despite that. I don't believe there's a God or some other all powerful existence or anything like that, but I think everything's connected in a way and even if it's all meaningless, it's worth being a good person just to make things a little easier for everyone regardless. I agree that everything we do is baseline selfish, even "selfless good deeds", but I don't think that matters if you're still making someone's day better.

9 Name: Ginja : 2017-12-30 21:26 ID:cfxB1zLs [Del]

I think that this world is one that needs to change. Many of those at the helm are either money-minded manchildren, or too scared of upsetting said manchildren to make any significant moves towards a brighter future.
However, this is a change that I think will come naturally and inevitably with age, and the passing of generations. I just hope it happens before it's too late.

>>4 dont comment if you have nothing to contribute. say what you think about the world.

i dont like the world as it is now. i think humans could do so much better and could be so much nicer to each other, but we are always so egoistic and egocentric and only care for ourselves this is so sad. if we could care for the others a little bit more we could create such a wonderful place. i really believe that we could do it because ppl can be so lovely and nice and im so very sad that nobody struggeles hard enough to try to change something.
i wish we could recreate the world again with nicer ppl where everybody loves everybody and erase every bad thing like war and hatred. we are one people and we must behave like this! <3

To get this out of the way, I am agnostic. The existence of a higher being can neither be proven or disproven, so worshipping a potential deity is nonsense in my eyes. And even if there is a higher being, it doesn't matter. As it is simply impossible to say whether there is a god or not, humanity forges its fate itself.
I have a love-hate-relationship with humans, similar to >>8 . Most people are egoistic trash and you can see that from facts like companies wrecking the environment and people killing each other in the name of their potential deities or any other stupid pretext. However, there are some individuals that fill my heart with joy. Some human beings are so beautiful and their every action and reaction is magnificent. Observing these people or groups of people and their individual relationships, dramas and decisions is the best entertainment in this world.
Although I am able to enjoy an isolated lifestyle, I am afraid of losing people to observe once my life changes. I dislike humans, but they are the best!
Nevertheless, I believe in the potential of humanity, similar to >>9 . There are individuals that try to change the world for the better and (literally) reach for the stars. I dream of humanity having a future as an interplanetary or even interstellar civilisation and I am pretty sure that over time we will get there. Every generation has its Elon Musk and as long as humans dedicate themselves to science and technological advancements, not only our world will change for the better, but also our society as a whole.

At the risk of sounding like Forrest Gump, the world is like a box of chocolates, you never really know what you're gonna get. You could get something nutty, sweet, fruity, caramel, marshmallow, or cream filled. There is one for sure; you are bound to find some nuts out there.

14 Name: Dotoka : 2017-12-31 06:04 ID:BgBROdHL [Del]

I know this sounds pessimistic, but I don't think there's any real reason for anything that happens, nor I have any hope in humans. It doesn't really matter what you do or how you live, in the end we all end up the same. Whatever people do, in their core they're all the same and no matter how they disguise their reasons they're all selfish.

15 Name: Namie : 2017-12-31 10:30 ID:xGkQbGW3 [Del]

The world is fulll of cringeworthy, self indulgent narcissists who get self satisfaction out of huffing their own farts.

Just like this thread.....(Chronos excluded)

This world is exactly that-the world. It can be a piece of crap or it can be the most beautiful thing there is. The world does not change depending on your opinion or preference. It is everything we will know in life, so the world cannot be defined in one way. If a single thing in this world is beautiful and the rest is ugly, then the world is both beautiful and ugly. The world is a reflection of ourselves, contextually mutable yet rarely actually changing.

reading a bit 'I see that the speeches always turn on the same things. Why do you think humans tend to create characters that are above him? simple, to find hope where there is not Or simply to find meaning for something. Then, changing the subject, talk about optimism and pessimism ... and it's wrong. Optimism is the tendency to give false hopes at times and the Pessimism is the exact opposite. Just be realistic. Look at the world from various points of view . Of course, the world does not change according to our will but think of the war. The world is divided into two or more parts, these fight and those who win can change the world (I do not mean world as Planet but all that is above him). I can not explain very well on everything because there are too many details to analyze but this is my opinion very summarized

22 Name: Mizuki : 2018-01-01 15:27 ID:EPbkTr1e [Del]

Hmm... I'd be lying if I said I haven't thought about this topic on a daily basis. Over time, to me, it feels as if there has been a wide spectrum of people and opinions and sides in battles, so there is no real definition of life. However, I do believe many people just want to follow the 'right' path, whatever that may be to them. I am not a big fan of religion--it can be used as a weapon or as a step ladder for others to become whole. I would want to say I am agnostic, mostly because I do not believe any religions out there or want to follow their specific rules for being a good person, but still, I think there might be something we humans have not discovered. I've seen too many people following a religion for the simple reason that they believe they will get some sort of paycheck for it in the afterlife. Or, conniving priests who make money off of faithful churchgoers. This isn't ever case of religion, however. There have been people who have found morals they believe to be benevolent and practiced them for the sake of good in this world and contributed to society. But life right now, well, is pretty complicated. You have politics, morals, religions, customs, cultures, discrimination, everything on one planet. Life is like a fluid, it takes the shape of whatever vessel it finds itself in. One thing i truly wonder about is why we are born, and why do we die. It is a pretty strange concept if you think about it. Especially with emotions. They're only chemicals in our noggins, and yet they make us do unreasonable things. But enough of that, I believe life is just what you make your world about, and how you treat the outside world. It isn't as if I have some hope for humanity, though. There's always a fraction of hope, but my hope has been trampled over numerous times with things I have seen occurring all over the world. Especially terrorism. Humans aren't made to destroy, we just self-destruct eventually so we make the biggest bang! possible in order to snuff out our lives in the most satisfying way. or, we chase after a goal that is irrefutably precious to us. These are just some vague examples of things. I cannot comprehend war, either. I can see the fun in strategies and wit, but taking away another's life for just the sake of that is folly. Of course, I understand civil wars and things of that nature. Morals will always clash in life, there is no escaping it. It exists in everything we do. I've said many contradicting things here, probably, but my mind tends to start taking different positions when I try to express an opinion.

A never ending shit that circulates every inch this world has. Hypocrites all over the place. Lies are the topic of conversation. What's the point? This world is worse than rotting garbage. At least the garbage, we know it reeks of hell. But people they try to hide it. And they do it so well.

I am just a small human on a huge planet, in a wide universe. The world is simply what it is. A dying planet filled with creatures of different belief. We can't truly get peace but, we could spread joy.

This world needs a little bit of magic, dragons and a fanstasy-like atmosphere and environment. Until then, I'll just hope I get transported on a fantasy rpg game.

More importantly, it's the current generation that is ruining it for the future generations.
